Heat or eat?
No-one should have to choose.
OVER 6 MILLION
PEOPLE IN THE UK LIVE IN FUEL POVERTY
A fuel poor household is defined as one which needs to spend more than 10% of its income on all fuel use and to heat its home to an adequate standard of warmth.
The Fair Energy Campaign aims to tackle fuel poverty systemically by addressing unbalanced pricing which often leads to debt in low-income households.
We believe people shouldn’t have to choose between putting food on the table or paying their energy bill.

MORE THAN 25% OF UK HOUSEHOLDS DON’T KNOW WHAT ENERGY TARIFF THEY’RE ON.
FAIR ENERGY
Switch for Good
We work alongside communities to learn about and implement fair energy practices. We demonstrate that it is possible to save money, and be responsible for the environment.

What we stand for
What we stand for
Green deal
100% clean, renewable energy affordable for all. At the very least, this means that electricity comes from renewable sources and gas is carbon neutral. We prefer companies that are serious about eliminating the need for fossil fuels.
Open pricing
End ‘tease and squeeze’. No energy tariff should cost more than 5% of any other tariff on any given day, within a given region for the same product, and no exit fees.
Both People and Planet
The climate crisis is predicted to do enormous damage to health worldwide and will affect the poorest in society worst. So we believe that climate action should be affordable, accessible and beneficial for all. Joining our campaign and helping people to switch to one of our recommended energy suppliers is a simple but powerful way to cut carbon footprints and household bills simultaneously.
