Laura Santamaria

Campaign Chair

Dr Laura Santamaria is researcher, educator and activist. She has over 20 years’ experience in brand, media and communications strategy for social change and holds a PhD in Sustainable Innovation. Laura is founder of pioneering sustainable lifestyle magazine Sublime. She is Associate Professor and Deputy Head of Cambridge School of Art, and Visiting Fellow at the Institute for Design Innovation, Loughborough University London.

Anže Zadel

Project Manager

Dr Anze Zadel is an interdisciplinary urban practitioner, researcher, educator, and activist. He has over 12 years’ experience in community advocacy, urban planning, policy analysis, data visualization, and holds a Ph.D. in Public and Urban Policy. Anze co-founded one of the first green schools in Lagos called the Amenawon Solar School. He is Part-Time Faculty at Parsons School of Design and a Postdoc Research Associate at the Institute for Design Innovation, Loughborough University London.

Diana Hysenaj

Communities Coordinator

Diana Hysenaj is a young person working with communities to drive change. As an activist for the ONE campaign, Diana is joining the global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable diseases by 2030, through working on campaigns in the UK, raising awareness, and lobbying political leaders amongst other steps on a local, national and global level. Outside her work with the Fair Energy Campaign, Diana is currently studying Politics and International Relations at University and is a Young Leader for My Life My Say. She volunteers her time supporting a range of organisations and is a global mentor for Iamthecode, helping to tackle the current global STEM skills shortage in marginalised communities.

Sina Marleen Petersen

Design Researcher

Sina is a designer, researcher and facilitator. She has a background in branding, digital design and innovation strategy. Graduated from Loughborough University London with an MSc in Design Innovation, Sina is interested in empowering youth leadership by design and has experience with capacity-building in communities of young people. At The Fair Energy Campaign, she designs learning experiences and resources emerging from action research.
